Today we began a poetry unit.
Think that poetry is a poem and it has rhythm. I dislike poetry because you have to rhythm.
We read Love That Dog by Sharon Creech
Pause#1: He does not want them to know.
Pause#2: Kids like the short ones some people may not thank it might not be a poem. Some kids might like to write poems and others may not.
Pause#3: kids do not like some poems and he does not understand poems that the teacher reads.
Pause#4: He likes street music he likes yellow paper and tree poems. He wants to tell the person who wrote it that is a poem
Pause#5: He wants to use someone’s other people’s words.
Pause#6: He can’t forget anything .He felt bad for his dog.
End: He is going crazy because he came to see him.
Jake got his inspiration from Walter Dean Myers things that happened around him and reading other poems and his every day life.

Apples Apples
I love you are so juicy
When I chew
you are so juicy.
